The Hardknock Kikker
was first introduced for sale to the public in July of
2006. The Hardknock is a true bobber in a traditional
sense. The bike features a Springer or a standard hydraulic
front end, kick start and electric start, hydraulic front
and rear disc brakes, suicide shift, forward controls, and a
125cc or 200cc engine. The typical top speed of a stock
Hardknock, depending on the rider’s size, is 57 MPH for a
125cc and 75 MPH for a 200cc. The bike has a nostalgic
appeal rivaled by old hot rods and old motorcycles. The
curb appeal is overwhelming. I personally can’t ride
without being questioned wherever I go. The greatest appeal
to me and many other owners is that each bike is custom
ordered with your choice of more than 26 standard options,
as well as many aftermarket upgrades. The Hardknock can be
and is titled in most states, and many who title theirs use
it as a daily rider. The Hardknock gets approximately
85-100 miles per gallon depending on the model. Many people
dream of being able to build their own bikes and this is the
solution to that dream. The Hardknock comes as an
unassembled kit in 4 boxes, and the process of building is
not difficult for those with general mechanical knowledge.
Typical assembly time is one weekend to do it safely and
properly. With a base price of $1699 for a 125cc and $2199
for a 200cc to approximately $2700 for a fully loaded model,
these bikes are easy and affordable to customize and
personalize. The bike is in tremendously high demand and
all orders are filled in the order they are placed.
Typically the longest wait is during the summer months when
the riding season is at its height.
Below you can see the dimensions of the bike and a size comparison next to a Harley Davidson. |
